The problems

I am a Web 3 Developer. I have a few problems I am dealing with.

  1. I’m trying to create my own name (domain) on Hedera’s network but I have limited options to do so because there was only one other platform available, which makes me feel trapped.

  2. I would like to use a dependable NFT API so that I can engineer services where I’d be able to create, retrieve data, transfer, list and search for NFTs.

  3. I want to interact with all Kabuto products, but I don’t have the capital to invest for testing purposes.

The SolutionS

For the solution it was decided that we should create:

  1. An additional name service to tackle the limited choices so the Web 3 Developer would have an alternative options to choose from.

  2. A reliable NFT API that empowers Web 3 Developers to easily engage in every aspect of NFT operations, ensuring that their efforts are meaningful and won't go to waste.

  3. A web 3 faucet so that any/all users could interact with our technology without any significant investment.

Kabuto Name Service

Kabuto Name Service is a decentralized name service deployed on Hedera’s network. Our goal was to make it intuitive to DNS users and simple enough to use for non-technical users. Users can discover all public TLDs and search for domain names that are available for those TLDs and purchase those domains. KNS resides on Hedera, but is compatible with other networks.

Kabuto NFT

We created Kabuto NFT so that developers could interact with and integrate NFT related functionalities into their applications or services. An NFT API typically provides endpoints and methods that enable developers to perform various operations related to NFTs. These may include:

  1. Create NFTs

  2. Retrieve NFT Data

  3. Transfer NFTs

  4. List and Search NFTs

  5. Metadata Handling

We provided developers with the ability to use our NFT APIs to streamline the integration of NFT functionality into their applications. Whether it's for creating NFT marketplaces, incorporating NFTs into games, or building other decentralized applications that involve the use of NFTs.

Kabuto Faucet

Because the products we are building are specifically for Hedera Hashgraph we needed to create a service that would provide our users with a small amount of tokens for free so they can test and interact with our products. The whole purpose of a Web 3 faucet is to distribute a small quantity of digital assets to users, allowing them to participate in transactions, interact with smart contracts, and experience the functionalities of the decentralized ecosystem without requiring them to make a financial investment upfront.

Branding & Website

Along with all the platform design, I created the branding and website.

the result

Even though all Kabuto products aren’t all live yet, we have been engaging with the Web 3 Hedera community to get their feedback on the designs we have created. Out of the 200 responses we have received, 86% of the Web 3 Hedera Developers have given us positive feedback that these tools are exactly what they are looking for.
