The context
In this day and age businesses are looking for better ways to reach their consumers. We needed to figure out a way to make it easy for companies to send out bulk texts, scrub their leads list to pull out those phone numbers that were on the DNC list, and make it easy for employees and contract workers to send texts out by hand.
The process
User Flows
admin
We began with the real estate industry because my client has over 25 years of experience in that space. We needed an easy way for him and others in the company to be able to add text messaging templates to the platform.
Self-serve
Once we had the initial setup achieved, we had to figure out a process for self-serve users to be able to set up and review their own campaigns.

Platform
When an agent logs in, they have the ability to set up their own campaign, add collaborators, and upload their leads. In the next phase we will be working with other lead generation companies to be able to offer leads to agents if they don’t have any of their own.
The agent can then select a text message they want to send, select the frequency in which they want to send them, pay for those records, and launch their campaign.
In the case of real estate (because everything has to be split up evenly between collaborators), I needed to figure out a way for a user to have the ability to customize payment on the billing page.
Branding
Human to human, with ai support
Because Galilaio is a bulk texting platform with a human element to it, I decided it would be best if we went with a robot who has personality.
I chose an initial font that had soft, curvy lettering and rounded the corners so that people would feel that the AI part of the software wasn’t threatening.
Because the goal of the company is about drip campaigns, I used the oval shape for the head. This oval shape reminded me of a track and I had hoped that it would convey the sentiment that you may need to make a few laps before you land a client. And of course, there’s always a friendly face in the middle of it all.
After doing some research on other companies in the industry, all their websites felt so heavy and overly official. So I went with a lighter approach. Something that would be more inviting, with examples and a clear call to action.
the Conclusion
98% of text messages are opened within 3 minutes or less. With Galilaio, companies now have a way to reach their consumers via text message on a platform that is compliant in every way.
